Pam Kulik is a strategic marketing executive who specializes in marketing startups. As a senior advisor to startups, she develops Go-To-Market Plans, optimizes digital marketing, creates social media strategies, and develops PR programs for VC, Angel, and privately funded companies. Her experienced strategic counsel identifies disconnects in marketing messaging and optimizes the best mix of marketing tactics for improved ROI. Pam’s expertise has contributed to the success of new product launches, increased brand awareness, media coverage, effective lead generation, and jumps in social engagement.
The Bay Area Internet Boom
She began her marketing career launching a mix of B2B and Internet consumer startups in the Bay Area during the Internet Boom of the mid-1990′s. She started at top Internet/Tech PR agency Niehaus Ryan Wong, where she launched Marimba and CyberSource, and moved on to serve as the Director of Marketing for a consumer Internet startup where she oversaw content strategy/development, marketing, PR and CMS platform UX. Next, she joined Sapient, an S&P 500 global technology consultancy, as a Web Content Strategist where she created digital content strategies for Fortune 1000 companies and VC-backed startups such as HP, Chevron, Wine.com and Scudder Weisel.
The Rise of Silicon Beach
After relocating to Los Angeles, Pam Kulik joined global media company Thomson Reuters as a senior Marketing Communications Manager for their $300 million global enterprise software business, Elite. She built and managed a growing content marketing team and turned it into an in-house publishing group for case studies, white papers, data sheets, Web copy and product marketing leadership. Before founding DIALOGIKdigital, Pam was a Vice President at Bender/Helper Impact, a PR/social media agency, leading their digital technology group of startup clients.
Pam Kulik has spoken at industry events, including moderating The Politics of Net Neutrality panel at NATPE’s LATVFest and discussing digital content marketing at Digital Hollywood. Education & Politics
Pam graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL with a BA in Political Science and earned a Master of Public Administration (Public Policy) from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Prior to her corporate career, Pam put her communications skills to work in the United States Senate as a legislative aide to Senator Daniel P. Moynihan (NY), in the House as a Sub Committee Staffer (Rep. Henry Waxman), as Editor of the Carnegie Commission on Science, Technology & Government’s Legislative magazine, as a grassroots lobbyist for the arts, and on two Congressional campaigns on Long Island (her home District).
During her free time she enjoys jogging with Lucy (her adopted poodle/bichon mix), pilates, international travel, reading sci-fi and history, volunteering, schmoozing with friends, and talking politics.
